Get to know LIDO Festival, the newest festival heading to London’s Victoria Park next month.

Two weekends of the hottest live music will grace the LIDO Festival stages to kickstart summer from June 6th through to June 15th, with organisers and headliners working closely together to curate their own lineups. Karma! Magazine favourites Charli XCX, Massive Attack, London Grammar, Jamie xx, Turnstile, Celeste, Wasia Project, and Alex G are just some of the huge names arriving in East London for this highly anticipated event. Read below for lineup breakdowns and our must-see acts over the two weekends.

Bristolian trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack are performing their first show in the capital in nine years, opening LIDO Festival on June 6th. They’ll be joined by French electronic duo and frequent Sofia Coppola collaborators, Air, Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def), The Alchemist as FORENSICS, and experimental singer-songwriter Tirzah.

A band known for pushing boundaries, the Massive Attack event will be 100% powered by Ecotricity’s renewably charged batteries, bringing their climate-conscious Act 1.5 show to London. The initiative aligns with LIDO’s emphasis on sustainability, contributing to efforts to reduce local air pollution and demonstrate that decarbonising the live music industry is possible. Massive Attack have always remained steadfast in their beliefs and convictions—an ethos that Karma! Magazine aligns with—so we’re excited to see what the band and their incredible lineup will bring.

Jamie xx headlines LIDO on June 7th, bringing his iconic club residency The Floor back to the UK for one show only. The stacked lineup includes his In Waves album collaborators and hand-picked favourite DJs and artists, with DJ Harvey set to headline the exclusive The Floor stage. Arca, Romy, Perfume Genius, Panda Bear, Shy One, and Wookie are the first acts to be announced, promising a day packed with electronic and alternative sounds to dance to. This is set to be a special day for Jamie xx, with his hometown return shaping up to be a joyful celebration of his euphoric, kaleidoscopic journey so far.

Outbreak Fest will be heading down from Manchester for a residency at LIDO, bringing a day of punk, rock, and alternative music headlined by genre-busting hardcore pioneers Turnstile. They’ll be joined on June 13th by alternative indie favourite Alex G, the experimental hip-hop of Danny Brown, Glassjaw, Knocked Loose, Sunny Day Real Estate, SPEED, and more. Opening the second weekend of LIDO Festival, Outbreak’s residency marks the biggest outdoor event led by hardcore punk musicians in the UK this year—making it an unmissable day for fans.

If you thought 2024’s monumental Brat was a thing of yester-summer, fear not! Charli XCX takes to her first UK festival as headliner for LIDO, curating her own lineup featuring cult classic album collaborators and her favourite artists. Charli XCX’s culturally defining avant-pop sound is the culmination of years of work with underground electronic and hyperpop musicians—a long journey that has also drawn well-deserved attention to lineup neighbour, producer and songwriter A.G. Cook.

Joining the lineup on June 14th are formative electronic DJ and songwriter Gesaffelstein, 070 Shake, Magdalena Bay, The Dare, The Japanese House, Jodie Harsh, and more. With artists that epitomise the essence of Brat—from electronic to pop to honest songwriting—Charli XCX presents party girl festival as the ultimate soundtrack to kick off Brat Summer 2.0.

To close out LIDO Festival, London Grammar take to the stage for their biggest and only London show in 2025. The band are renowned for their ethereal indie-pop and immersive live shows, which they’ll bring to Victoria Park on June 15th, hot on the heels of their sold-out European arena tour at the end of last year. The artists joining London Grammar’s lineup reflect the band’s unique electronic-pop fusion. The bill includes the elegance of singer-songwriter Celeste, dance maestro Róisín Murphy, Pip Millett, The Blessed Madonna, Wasia Project, Maverick Sabre, and more.

LIDO promises to be much more than just the music, with a community-driven, fun, and free festival In the Neighbourhood on offer during the week. Expect live music, sports sessions, theatre shows, food and drink, and much more in partnership with the local council.
