Although the Belgian festival has established itself as one of the frontrunners of european music festivals, Rock Werchter keeps raising the bar each year. After last year’s headliners counting Olivia Rodrigo, Noah Kahan, Linkin Park, Gracie Abrams, Raye and Yungblud in their ranks, this year comes in hot with headliners The Lumineers, Twenty One Pilots, Halsey, Kneecap, The XX and The Last Dinner Party.
Beyond that, the emerging artists that show a lot of promise to be household names are sure to bring good vibes in more intimate settings outside of the main stage. JADE, FKA Twigs, Paris Paloma, CMAT and Ethel Cain are all playing the festival. Whether you decide to bask in the energy of the main crowd or or have a more laid-back experience, the memories you make are guaranteed to last.
With that being said, here are some of the artists that Karma! Magazine is most excited to catch at Rock Werchter 2026 across the Main Stage, The Barn and Klub C, as well as artists that have piqued our curiosity at Slope stage.
Main Stage Essentials
The Lumineers, Thursday July 2nd
The folk rock group has been together for two decades. With each musician having their own particular set of skills when it comes to instrumentation, they bring a restless and exciting energy when they’re on stage. The vibrations from the crowd clapping along and stomping their feet promise to stay with you on the way home. Although hearing “Ophelia” live is a highlight, their most recent Automatic shows their cohesiveness as a band that persevered through the years.
The Last Dinner Party, Friday July 3rd
Although only formed five years ago, The Last Dinner Party have their stage dynamics figured out. They toured their first and second album extensively, Prelude to Ecstasy (2024) and From The Pyre (2025). A group of non-binary and female-lead talent with songs that either make you want to get up and smash the patriarchy or slow dance with your fellow women and sapphics alike, you will not regret or forget seeing them perform.
Halsey, Saturday July 4th
From influencing a whole generation of teenagers with her poetry and songs on 2014 Tumblr to playing some of the biggest stages in the world, Halsey is ready for a festival tour. After her “Back to Badlands” anniversary tour comes a brand new show with “Live in Europe: The Girl in The Tower” for this festival season. Her latest album, The Great Impersonator, is vulnerable yet gritty and filled with rock anthems that will shake the main stage crowd on Saturday.
Renée Rapp, Saturday July 4th
After a world tour surrounding her 2025 album BITE ME, the multi-hyphenate artist brings her pop bangers on a short festival tour around Europe. Whether you’re into lesbian music or looking for a good time on the floor, Rapp’s vocals and stage presence will mesmerise you. Who knows, if you’re a woman-loving-woman, you might even find your match in the crowd given the flirty nature of most of her songs.
Twenty One Pilots, Saturday July 4th
Having built a loyal fanbase throughout the decades they’ve been together, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun haven’t been resting. After the Breach album release followed by a headline tour, the duo is embarking on an extensive festival tour. They will expand their universe on the main stage to close Saturday night in what promises to be an electric show.
