Norwegian musical artist AURORA is best known perhaps for her debut record,  All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend, released on March 11, 2016. What would follow is a very successful career across the folk and electronic music genres, allowing for a broad showcasing of her musical range.

To mark the ten year anniversary of her starting point, AURORA is releasing her brand-new book by the same name as the album on March 12th of this year. Not only is it a look back on the genre that would eventually shape her furthering career, but it is also a love letter to those that remember and  that period of time, with a lot of care going into the design of the book.

This is the third installment of AURORA’s release of novels to coincide with her work, with both her third and fourth albums having this additional companion available as well. It’s through these releases that you’re able to get an intimate lens into her thought process behind each project and what it looked like behind the scenes to bring them to their finished product.

Especially for longtime fans, being able to rewind and receive this for her first full-length album is especially a treat. From early notebooks to sketches, it unveils a piece of the puzzle that has never been brought to the public light until now, a decade after its original creation.

AURORA has commented, “In honor of my firstborn being 10 years of age on 11th March, I have decided to release another book. This book will be a bit different, since I could not for the life of me find the original book of thoughts and poems surrounding my first album. But I searched and I scrambled. Through hundreds of other notebooks and photographs. And for most of the pieces included, I wrote down what I could remember of stories and emotions surrounding the journey this album took me on. I hope you like it. Because I like you. Much love, A x”

Featuring a moth on the cover, the book art replicates the original softness that the artist is able to bring to life within her music and the creative process that she delicately weaves together.

The book is available for pre-order right now and can be yours very soon. However, that isn’t the only thing coming for fans of the artists to look forward to. She also has a theatrical release coming for her debut film, AURORA: What Happened To The Earth?, on March 4, 2026. Which captures the newest heights of her career, her largest-ever headlining show, a sold-out performance for 18,000 people at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes.

This is not the first time that the artist has dipped her toes into videography, as she has also worked on a couple of documentaries as well as a short film, but it will be interesting to see what a full-length theatrical release looks like, especially for an artist that has created a world as fully developed and complex as that of her musical journey.
