Cornish-born Polly Money’s new single ‘Milk & Honey’ encapsulates the sound of dreamy bedroom pop, and is an admirable insight into what we can expect from the upcoming EP ‘T-shirt Nothing Else’ – out March 20th.

Full of euphoric vocals with a mix of idyllic and bouncy melodies, ‘Milk & Honey’ is a journey of introspection. The honesty of the track’s lyrics amplify the song’s sense of thrill as Polly navigates love, longing, and self–discovery.

Polly’s previous singles, ‘Anything’ and ‘i’m not proud’, were released shortly after wrapping up her time on the road with pop-rock band The 1975, where she spent 18 months touring as a live guitarist and vocalist. With ‘Milk & Honey’, she continues to establish herself as a standout queer artist in the indie-pop scene.

The accompanying black & white music video for ‘Milk & Honey’, directed and edited by friend and fellow artist Rosie Carney, captures Polly at her most natural against the blank canvas of photographer Cal McIntyre’s studio. The simplicity and authenticity of this music video is an intimate reflection of the track’s vulnerability.

“My hope is for anyone listening to ‘Milk & Honey’ to be immediately transported to the time and place they first fell in love,” Money says.

Listening to ‘Milk & Honey’, I’m reminded of laying in the grass with my best friends during festival season, feeling contentment and bliss as sweet melodies carried over open air. Polly is set to perform live at major festivals this summer, including Truck Festival, Kendal Calling, and Victorious Festival, so fans will be lucky to hear tracks from ‘T-shirt Nothing Else’ brought to life in an atmosphere that captures the sound so ethereally.
