Hayden Silas Anhedönia known as Ethel Cain is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Florida. Her debut concept album “Preacher’s Daughter” released back in 2022 challenged alternative/indie genre with thrilling sounds and captivating, unique storytelling.
This year alone she released two records. “Perverts” – a deep winter drone and dark ambient beautifully haunting ep that’s very different from any other Anhedönia’s projects. The second one and the latest record – a prequel to her beloved debut album – “Willoughby Tucker, I will always love you” is about all the feelings surrounding the act of falling in love, describing a coming of age story of Ethel and Willoughby’s love affair through diverse sounds and heartbreaking lyrics.
She’s an artists who blends alternative pop, indie rock and folk americana into the intimate, melancholic storytelling. Her music consists of emotionally charged, complex compositions in which ethereal vocals intertwine with dark. cinematic notes. Her authenticity, unique narrative, and heavenly voice build a mystical world of melodies that draws you in and leaves a lasting impression.
