On Wednesday night, Spacey Jane brought a beautifully intimate yet high-energy show to Indianapolis. The Australian indie-rock band filled the room with the type of energy that had everyone singing along from the beginning to end.

For fans of the band, the show felt especially rewarding. Spacey Jane’s stage presence is undeniable, and seeing their songs come to life reminded many fans why they’ve become such a beloved band in the indie-rock scene. While the smaller venue created an up-close experience, the packed room and fans dancing from the barricade to the back of the venue made it clear that the band is outgrowing these spaces.

The setlist was full of newer songs from their most recent album, If That Makes Sense, as well as their newest single “Do You Really Love Her?” from their EP Exit Wounds, which was just released on Friday. Hearing these songs woven between older tracks showcased the band’s sound perfectly, giving longtime fans and new listeners alike a chance to experience the full scope of their catalog.

Spacey Jane’s momentum is only continuing to grow. With an upcoming summer tour supporting Rainbow Kitten Surprise, they’re set to share their discography with thousands of more music lovers. If their show in Indianapolis was any indication, fans have a lot to look forward to as Spacey Jane enters an exciting new chapter!
