Olivia Dean is the beloved new star of the UK music scene, with a fashion sense just as ethereal as her music. From flawless street style to glamorous front-row fits, Dean’s wardrobe is the epitome of a cool-girl muse. If there’s any artist’s wardrobe I would want to raid, it would be hers! Her joyfully authentic stage presence brings life to the pieces she wears during every performance, visually welcoming us into her playful world of neo-soul.
Working closely with her stylist Simone Beyene, Dean has collaborated with many notable brands throughout her career so far, ranging from designer houses such as Gucci and Miu Miu to custom pieces from independent labels like Chopova Lowena and Parnell Mooney.
Dean enjoys connecting her style to her work. She repeatedly wears shades of purple — the colour motif of her debut album Messy — with an elegant Saint Laurent gown at the BRIT Awards, as well as a dreamy Molly Goddard dress at Somerset House in 2023. She also performed on stage at Glastonbury 2024 wearing a photo of her grandma at the centre of her custom Chopova Lowena outfit, whom the track “Carmen” is titled after. Dean has previously described how she interprets style and music as a package. By allowing herself to be free and truly express herself, the two can effortlessly and beautifully combine to deliver her art to her ever-growing audience.
Dean herself is the perfect package of talent, style, soul, elegance, and youth. If you’re looking for your next fashion icon with effortless chic, you need not look any further. With an album called Messy, she sure does have a clean wardrobe.

PARNELL MOONEY
London Apollo 2024
A mini series of custom pieces in a set of three colours to accompany each night of her London shows. The draped ruffle skirt was theatrically removed during the performance to reveal a mini pencil skirt and tights of a matching colour.

SELF-PORTRAIT
Australia 2025
Who needs a glitterball when you can wear one? In one of my personal favourite looks, Dean dazzled in the floor-length sequined slip during a recent Australia show.

MOLLY GODDARD
Somerset House 2023
Floating across the stage in a purple puff-ball gown, Dean looked at home in what she described as the dress of her dreams.

KENZO
Japan 2024
Paying homage to the brand’s homeland, Dean wore Kenzo SS25 to her first Japanese show. The detailed green crochet piece was embroidered with floral motifs, giving a poetic connection between Dean’s album visuals and the show’s location.

GUCCI
2024
Stepping away from the stage, Dean delivers a simple yet stunning Gucci ensemble at the fashion house’s Milan show. A sheer lime green shirt with a silky pastel pink midi skirt, she was a vision of understated elegance.

DAVID KOMA
Australia 2025
The baby blue feather trimmed dress from David Koma’s AW24 brought a feel of 1920’s decadence to Australia back in February. This dress is pure perfection.

ETRO
Osheaga Festival 2024
The long fringed slip dress beautifully tailored to Dean’s silhouette is an example of the brand’s love for playing with colour and texture. Paired with silver slingbacks, she was a vision of playful yet chic style.

CHOPOVA LOWENA
Glastonbury 2024
The London based brand issued the 90’s grunge for the historic festival. Embellished with metallic hardware and studs, the personally decorated vest top was paired with a mini plaid bubble skirt, Dean was certainly one of the most fashionable performers there.

MAISON VALENTINO
New York 2023
Reminiscent of the ‘Big Apple’s’ jazz culture, Dean wore the perfect Valentino sequined mini dress for her three-night city stop.

YVES SAINT LAURENT
Brit Awards 2024
In a confident appearance in her signature colour, Dean wore a vibrant purple floor-length gown with a bare midriff section and draped back. She echoed the spirit of 70s Cher at the prestigious award show.
