The best medium-sized independent festival returns to Upcote Farm, Cheltenham on July 9-12th. Founded in 2007 from a passion for music and a desire to create a dynamic, energetic and accessible event, 2000trees has grown to become all that and more. At Trees attendees of the festival are at the top of their priorities; therefore, it comes as no surprise that the lineup continues to amaze. With over 130 artists announced so far, here are a few must-sees to help you plan your weekend.

If you are lucky enough to have a coveted four-day ticket, you will be able to attend performances from Wednesday. Panic Shack, a dynamic Welsh punk quintet fuelled by frustration from the male-dominated music scene, are a worthy watch. While frantic britpunk duo The Meffs, and Manchester based emo, power-pop band Hot Milk, are also not to be missed.

For those arriving on Thursday, Brazilian feminist punk rocker Karen Dió and Baby Said, identified as one of the fastest rising unsigned rock bands in the world, are sure to put on a show. Genre-blending Bambie Thug, known for their unwavering activism, tops off an already packed day.

The immaculate vibes continue on Friday. Imogen and The Knife, distinguished for her raw orchestral ballads, which explore stories that shape us as humans. Hevenshe, a fully independent indie-rock project created by Jenna McDougall and Die Spitz, a Texas punk band known for their chaotic but captivating live shows, all join the fold.

If you’ve retained some energy to go all out on the last day, then Saturday will deliver. With artists such as Sprints and GIRLBAND!, who have both developed a reputation for their memorable gigs. RØRY, who despite starting her career in her 30s, has quickly risen to fame. A testament to never giving up on your goals.

If this sounds like a bit of you, be sure to check out the full lineup on the 2000trees website, and if you do not want to miss out, three-day tickets are still available to purchase on Dice.
