The Vamps’ London show on the 22nd of September for their 10-year anniversary tour was nothing short of a celebration, filled with nostalgia for longtime fans and excitement for newer ones. The night at Eventim Apollo felt like a journey through the band’s decade-long discography, giving everyone a chance to relive their favorite moments or discover new ones. With this being one of the last shows of the tour, there was a bittersweet feeling in the air, but the energy and happiness was undeniable.
Opening the night were SOAP and Talia Mar, both of whom did an incredible job warming up the crowd. Their upbeat sets set the tone for what would be an unforgettable evening, filled with smiles and singalongs.
The Vamps kicked off their set with fan favorites from the past years showcasing just how far they’ve come since their early days. One of the highlights was when lead singer Bradley Simpson walked into the crowd during ‘Can We Dance’, mingling with fans in the stalls, dancing, singing, and making the night feel even more personal and special.
Drummer Tristan Evans also had his moment in the spotlight with an electrifying drum solo during ‘Chemicals’. The energy in the Apollo was through the roof as he showed off his impressive skills and added an extra level of excitement to the show.
As the night drew to a close, The Vamps finished their set with a bang, performing their hit ‘Somebody to You’ while confetti rained down over the crowd. It was the perfect ending to a joyful, nostalgic night, reminding everyone of the band’s journey over the last ten years. The smiles on fans faces said it all – the show was a celebration of the past, the present, and all that’s still to come for The Vamps.
