It’s that time of year again. In less than two weeks, from the 31st July to 3rd August, thousands will descend on Green View Farm, Derbyshire, for 2025’s Y Not festival. What began as a house party in 2005 has evolved into one of the most reputable English festivals. Boasting lineups that consistently pack a punch, in the magical Peak District.

This year’s addition is full of some of the greats. With names such as The Prodigy, Madness, Courteeners, Primal Scream and Franz Ferdinand all set to perform at the community-driven festival.

After a challenging few years, the newly rebranded Hard Life have made an impressive return to the music scene. With a new name fitting of their struggles, the Leicester band are sure to deliver a memorable performance when they take to the stage on Friday.

Some of our personal favourites at Karma! can also be spotted on the lineup. The Last Dinner Party, Luvcat, Chloe Slater and Siobhán Winifred are just a few and will all put on stellar performances across the weekend. You’d be a fool to miss any of them!

With family camping, parking and a dedicated kids area – Strawberry Fields -Y Not prides itself in being accessible for the whole family. Open to children of all ages, Strawberry Fields offers free workshops, arts and crafts, storytelling, kids raves and much more. All conveniently located right next to the arena entrance.

Y Not strive to create a safe and inclusive space for all to enjoy, and their home of Pikehall in the Peak District makes for one of the most scenic festival locations in the country. With plenty to do in the surrounding area, it’s worth getting down early.

Those who plan on doing exactly that with a Thursday access ticket will be treated to an early kick-off. The Wombats and Vistas will open the festival alongside multi-instrumentalist and rising star, Pixey.

Y Not 2025 will be one to remember, as it always is. There’s still time to grab a final tier ticket, so if you haven’t already, hop on to their site before it’s too late.
