For the biggest show of their career, Kehlani came on stage to an eruption of applause from a packed O2 Arena in South East London. From the minute the curtain dropped to the minute they left the stage, the energy in that room did not falter. Despite almost having to cancel, they delivered an incredibly breathtaking performance. During the first interval, Kehlani revealed they had lost their voice just two hours before stepping on stage. Thanks to the help of doctors, Kehlani was feeling well enough in time and it was possible for the show to go on.
Opening acts kwn and Keyruh set the tone for the night. Keyruh effortlessly blended tracks and kept the crowd hyped throughout their set, and kwn’s smooth vocals grabbed everyone’s attention immediately. For the first time on this tour, Kehlani brought kwn back out to perform ‘Worst Behaviour (Remix)’. It felt like a “you had to be there” moment. Feeding off of each others’ presence, their voices harmonized and complemented each other very well. On top of the vocals, the choreography throughout the night was flawless. Every move made by Kehlani and the four dancers were smooth and intentional, elevating the already captivating performance.
Calling London their “second home”, Kehlani made sure to give the city a night to remember. At the end of the night, they shut down The O2 with an incredible performance of ‘After Hours’ (featuring a beautiful ‘Cater 2 U’ mix), closing the show on an unforgettable high. A true R&B powerhouse, Kehlani is truly at the top of their game and continues to raise the bar.
