Indie pop darling Alice Phoebe Lou is gracing streaming platforms with the release of her latest dreamy cut, ‘You and I’.

Having recently toured in the US with Clairo, and set to join Remi Wolf at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Alice Phoebe Lou has garnered glowing support for her expansive and charming sound.

Where breakout track ‘Witches’ is more deeply rooted in euphoric pop, and ‘Nostalgia’ offers a swirling soundscape, ‘You and I’ marks an even softer approach from Lou and acts as a sonic continuation from 2021 record ‘Glow’ (‘Lover // Over The Moon’, ‘Velvet Mood’).

Acting wholly as a declaration of love, lush vocals dip into the honey pot of infatuation and dreams (“there are so many places we could be”) as soft, lilting guitars offer a delicately stripped backdrop.

Easily compared to the works of Adrienne Lenker or Alexandra Saviour, ‘You and I’ is drenched in overt adoration and soft, intimate musings.

Acting as her first ever fully self-produced release, ‘You and I’ is a delicate triumph for Lou.
