Primavera Festival is a well known European festival that takes over Barcelona for a weekend each year falling around the first weekend in June. The 2026 iteration of the festival is running from the 3rd to the 7th. This year also feels essential due to the absence of Glastonbury. Primavera gives UK Festival goers a place to be for great music and hopefully sunshine this summer.
Festival goers are graced with a superb mix of alternative legacy acts, rising indie performers, electronic artists and huge pop powerhouses making an appearance. News on the block among fans is that there is a lot of excitement for the return of The XX after years away touring.
Although there is a stark difference of headliners this year compared to 2025, where we saw an all female trio of headliners for the weekend, the fans aren’t complaining of the headliners for the 2026 festival that include Doja Cat, The Cure and The XX.
Beyond the headliners, we have the undercards that are definitely worth seeing including Mac Demarco, Marina, Ashniko, Pinkpantheress and Ethel Cain among many others. Primavera are well praised for their curation for previous years line-ups and this year is no different as it has multiple acts that spans across different genres and generations.
It is no surprise that the majority of tickets for this year’s festival are now sold-out. If you have been unlucky enough to be missing it this year, perhaps it is a festival to keep on your radar for 2027.
